Gary has been a long-time member of Horizon Christian Fellowship, serving in the senior pastor role since June 2021. He spent 33 years as math teacher and basketball coach, retiring from public education in 2024 to serve full time as senior pastor.

Worship Ministry
A gifted musician and a passion for Worship is what Nick brings to Sunday morning worship services. Nick plays over 20 instruments and eagerly shares his gift of music with others. Nick is self-employed as a video editor for on-line video gaming companies.
Jessica Freed
Children’s Ministry Director
Jessica came to Horizon as Children's Ministry Director in 2024. She has a passion for kids and seeing them come to know Jesus.
Wayne Folmer
Senior's Ministry
Founding pastor of Delta Nazarene in north Stockton and Horizon Christian Fellowship, Pastor Wayne Folmer leads the Senior's Ministry. Gatherings of The Encouragers meet bi-weekly to share a meal, fellowship, fun, and lots of encouragement.
Harry Ulep
Student Ministry
Harry Ulep came to Horizon as the Student Ministries Director in 2025 . He brings great experience to the Horizon Team and has a real passion for seeing young people grow in their faith. Harry is also a key leader on the Horizon Worship Team.
Young Adult Ministry
Pastor Gary is currently leading our Young Adult Group. Young adults meet for Bible Study on Wednesday's at 6:00pm as a part of Winning Wednesday Midweek Connection.
Steve Scott
Men's Ministry
Reverend Steve Scott leads our weekly men's Bible study on Wednesday evenings. He retired in 2024 after 18 years as the district superintendent for the Sacramento Nazarene District. A long time Stockton resident, Steve serves in many ways across the district to help in preaching, teaching, and consulting.
Andrea Galindo
Women's Ministry
Andrea leads our monthly Bible Study. She enjoys hosting and leading this group of ladies in her home and invites all the ladies to join her.

Krista leads our weekly Ladies Bible Study on Wednesday evenings.
Kim Padilla
Hospitality/cafe Ministry
Kim leads our hospitality team in the cafe. She loves serving in this role and making sure all the cafe and hospitality needs are covered each week.
Martin Jones
Building & Grounds/Missions
Martin is a long time member of Horizon, having served in many capacities over the years. He is currently overseeing the buildings and grounds operations, and serves as missions president and church board secretary.
Pamela George
Office Assistant
Pamela George leads a team of volunteers to help with the Office Duties. They keep things organized and moving smoothly for Horizon's staff, volunteers, and visitors.
